More than 700 pages. Just stop.

Enough of denigrating and blaming Biden for a disaster set up by his predecessor.

There are far more pressing matters, today. But since you insist on using the past to point fingers, then start with Trump's decision to whittle the forces down to 2,500 --- a number that left in place would have been under attack and crushed by the Taliban on September 1. How about the disgraced and failed former guy's decision to bar the Afghanistan government from the 2020 Trump-Taliban negotiations? You know, where, among other deals & mistakes, 5,000 Taliban fighters were released?

BTW: Less than three months ago, Trump bragged that he “started the process. All the troops are coming back home. They, the Biden administration and Democrats can't stop the process.”

The current occupant of the White House is focused on this country. The last occupant was focused on himself and himself only. Get a clue.
When the U.S. entered into WW2 and saw the same human atrocities, nobody said stop, we have bigger things to worry about than humanity. At what point in human abuses is your threshold? China’s abuses of Nepal or Islamists? Or when Taliban continues to execute thousands?

And what is more pressing for the U.S. than intervening on those that supported the U.S. for the past twenty years? Our open borders? Rising crime in the U.S.? Fiscal debt by Biden’s budget agenda?

Get out and stay out.

Does anyone here think we were ever going to win a war against the Taliban? Or that we were going to successfully convert Iraq into some kind of democratic Christian nation? When does that ever work?

PBS had a news story tonight about the Russian exit from Afghanistan versus ours. They rode out on their terms with parades and military ceremonies. We left with our tails between our legs, our military disgraced.

They left pre-Taliban. It's likely the possibility of an Afghan government standing without outside assistance was far less this time because the Taliban had successfully overcome the earlier Soviet-assisted government. Like having a child...the second one is easier.

Enough of blaming Trump for Biden screwing up and destroying twenty years of blood sweat and tears, reducing all past efforts into ashes

All you dems do is ignore all the destruction caused by elected dems, and claim we need to move on it's all in the past. This is probably why Biden screwed up so badly, Democrats refuse to learn from the mistakes of the past. It's one reason they still think Marxism / socialism can work.

Plenty of us who voted for GW Bush were very critical of him on his immigration policy to provide amnesty, and against his Dubai ports deal. So no, if Trump screwed up like Biden did, we would not have cut him any slack at all. Unlike the dems, where 52% were polled and said they approved of Biden's handling of the Afghanistan withdrawal.

This is all bidens fault. He changed the agreement which means he could have changed everything else.

Our current president has no clue he is even there. But at least I called him Our President, which you failed to do.
Biden arbitrarily changed the withdrawal date, which to the Taliban was a violation of the Doha agreement. They threatened to start their spring military offensive, which they did. Biden didn't even put any new plan in place, he just abolished Trump's plan, for no other reason than it was Trump's plan. Like everything else of Trump's that Biden undid, he put no thought into the consequences of undoing Trump's policies, vengeance against all things Trump was enough.

Biden sat on his hands, and literally waited until the Taliban took over control of Kabul, and THEN Biden decided to start withdrawing people. He didn't withdraw the Americans and Afghan friends with SIVs, he just evacuated anyone who fled to the Airport. But then when the Taliban's patients had worn thin, Biden fled on August 31, leaving everyone behind. And 52% of brain dead Democrats approved.

Taliban Says Biden’s Decision Breaks Doha Agreement,

Following US President Joe Biden's suggestions about a possible delay in the withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan under the Doha agreement, the Taliban warned that it will launch its annual spring offensive.

I was very critical of GW Bush when he got on TV April 10 and said all troops on a 12 month deployment were extended to 15 months. By chance my husband was home for the birth of our daughter. We didn't get the official word that my husband was extended until Friday April 13 that they were indeed extended. Not something a very pregnant woman wants to hear. I still hold that grudge against him.
