No. Of course not. That being said, politically they are on the right track in SOME ways.
It’s a beautiful, though relatively poor, country. Really enjoyed my visit.
Now, this is a perspective I can respect. A country is right in protecting its borders. However, I would not call Hungary more free than the USA.
...am I the strange one for wanting to hear from someone who has lived in Hungary and the US?
Nope...My mom used to have a Hungarian friend that used to cook Chicken Paprikash. I had some Hungarian neighbors years ago...could recognize most foreign languages people are speaking but not Hungarian...unusual language. All Hungarians know Chicken Paprikash though...mentioned it to them...They laughed...

I've made Chicken paprikash a few times. It's quite good.
Look at California that is a one party system they infringe on liberties all the time that conservatives hold dear, people have had enough and are voting with their feet, so much so that it lost a Congressional seat due to the exodus
It's exactly the opposite.
California is so much a two-party system that the Reps are pushing for a recall of a Dem governor. Do you imagine that Hungary could lawfully pursue something like that?
Anyone who thinks California is a one party state is oblivious to the existence of the Central Valley. Which is not a good thing because you should know and understand where your food comes from.
And the California Democrats strongly refuse any responsibility for Devin Nunes because, well, he’s the other team’s problem
According to Tucker Carlson, Hungary is more free than America because their government supports the native population and families.
So do you agree or disagree? Which is more free?
I think what Tucker Carlson means, is that Hungary helps its own citizens before it helps illegals. In the U.S. there has been an estimated 1.1 million people that have come over our southern border, that are being fed, clothed, provide with housing, bathed, given free medical care, vaccinated, will receive refugee payments. Meanwhile, we have U.S. citizens that are homeless, many on the street, many veterans, and they get far less. Many of these people coming are also bringing diseases, including covid.
