It wasn't mysterious. It was people buying marijuana vape cartridges and the makers were adding oils to the cartridge to make it more viscous because they were selling watered down or fakes.
Basically tainted drugs like the fentanyl outbreak a few years back that killed dozens and dozens.
So they say... awfully coincidental don't you think?
i don't know the logic from all these western experts. China got all the blame because covid was detected in China first, but if it turns out that the earliest case was in Italy then why not investigate Italy?
It got bad enough in China to become public first.
We don't know that the first case was in Italy, which is why the WHO wants to investigate further but China isn't allowing it.
china allowed it. There is a thing called the phase I of the covid research which happened in Wuhan earlier this year. but why is there no investigation in other cities where covid was reported earlier than wuhan?

I agree, Wuhan might have earlier samples but the odds of the Chinese government being forthcoming about that is very very low given their track-record. It's possible that with all of the travel that it did start in China and was just detected in Italy earlier but we both know that this will be played differently by Chinese State media as proof that it started in Italy.
That being said, we'll almost certainly never know for sure.
But why Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Bangkok... did not have any serious outbreak as Milan or Wuhan at that time? There are much more Chinese people in these cities than in Milan.

You must be entirely unaware of the prevalence of fake products in countries outside the US and the numerous deaths associated with ingesting tainted foods, drugs, illegal drugs.....it's not exactly uncommon.

China posted some "conspiracy theories" too, not popular in America though.

Well gosh, that's a great thing for the WHO inspectors to look into now isn't it?
replace CCP with Trump. that's the correct statement
The Chinese Communist Party desperately wants to deflect blame for 4+ million deaths. Wanna get a bunch of hopelessly partisan Americans to stop blaming the CCP? Tell Republicans "It's the Democrats fault!!" and tell Democrats, "It's the Republicans fault!!" Naturally, that'll work extremely well because mindless partisans are always happy to blame each other for anything and everything. Good tactic, but 100% BS.
The disease started in Wuhan, China. No outbreak occurred in Northern Italy in 2019, but there were people from the Wuhan Lab who got sick with Covid-19 symptoms in 2019. Too bad that China would never allow a an independent investigation into the origins of the disease to happen. We might actually be able to learn a lot if we could.
Lesson learned: Don't set up a high level virus research lab in a totalitarian nation that you already know will suppress any and all information the instant something bad happens. And Communist/Nazi regimes absolutely suck at safety when handling highly dangerous things.Examples:
Or maybe Wuhan lab deserves the Nobel prize for being the first to detect the virus?
No, the people living near the lab started getting sick first. So supposedly the virus originates in Ireland, and then magically went to Wuhan China, where there just happens to be a lab experimenting with that exact same virus?????
I think it's more likely COVID leaked, infected a Wuhan resident, who they then went to Ireland.
