The person you responded to, might be a good example for how tyrants like Hitler, Mussolini, Pol Pot take over a country. Every step towards fascism, communism and dictatorships was incremental. The enablers just shrug and say "what is the fuss, it's just a two week lockdown."

It was just supposed to be a temporary lockdown for two weeks, to slow the spread and flatten the curve. Many of the things we are still forced to comply with today, were just supposed to be temporary. We told ourselves that we were simply voluntarily doing these things, knowing that our laws forbid he feds from enacting these things as laws or dictates and force us to comply with them. Even income taxes were only supposed to be temporary.

Just like the temporary security measures which were taken after 9/11, they were said to just be temporary.

Look at France:

In November 2015, France declared a State of Emergency as an immediate response to two violent attacks in Paris causing the deaths of 130 people and injuring close to five hundred others, 100 of them seriously. Although states of emergency, as enshrined in law, are conceived as temporary measures to return to a “normal” state of affairs as soon as possible, in the French example, the declared state of emergency was extended five times, until November 2017, when many of the emergency powers and measures were codified and written in to ordinary law. In effect, restrictions introduced during the temporary state of emergency became permanent.

Mandating millions of workers to take a vaccine or undergo an impossible to manage weekly testing regimen is about as close to "iron fist" as Biden is going to get.

The spoiled brats are the COVID vaccinated that get COVID and blame the unvaccinated because their vaccine did not work as promised. Or the president that vindictively withholds monoclonal antibodies that have been used to treat both the vaccinated and unvaccinated because the governors fought back against his tyranny.

If someone goes to the trouble of being vaccinated, don't you think they should be entitled to resume normal life as they knew it in 2019?

Nope! You can still spread the virus so you can still infect people. This is the new normal.

Your post is spot on! It appears that a boisterous minority group among those who are vaccinated, is responsible for creating an unjustified and intentional divide between the vaccinated and unvaccinated ___ almost as if there is a political strategy to turn Americans against each other.

And with regard to the antibody treatment, which Florida's Governor took the lead in promoting and a number of other Republican Governors joined in, and now the Biden Administration has decided to withhold the treatments from those Governors, saying the treatment must be rationed, this is typical of government run healthcare . . . it is used as a weapon.

Aside from that I recently read an informative ARTICLE on the subject, and it seems to suggest the manufactures have no problem meeting the demand for the antibody treatments, and the only shortage is a failure to purchase and distribute enough of the product.

I suspect if Biden pulls his crap and rations Florida's supply, DeSantis will have Florida purchase its own treatments and tell the clowns in the Biden Administration to go pound freaken sand.

Yes. Everyone should go back to normal, not just the vaccinated.

I can’t pound it in anyone’s head any harder.
The vax does NOT stop infection.
The vax does NOT stop infection.
The vax does NOT stop infection.

It reduces risk of serious symptoms and death. That’s all.
Which is a good thing, but that’s what it does.
It. Does. Not. Stop. The. Spread.

Which is exactly why those vaccinated should be tested on a regular basis and quarantine if positive much like an unvaccinated person would do if they had symptoms. The vaccine only helps the person that got the vaccine
