The 50 year old Senator started out as a self-professed "Man of the People" when he started out in congress.

The embattled Texas Senator now has embraced a more grizzly style and Tea Party or "Maverick" perspective, now seeking to torpedo any sensible legislation in sight.

Sens. Cruz, Cramer introduce No Mask and No Vaccine Mandate Acts, countering Biden administration and CDC mask guidelines

Texas and North Dakota, which are represented by Cruz and Cramer, are both experiencing increases in new COVID-19 cases.
What happened? What went wrong? Is Trump to blame

Should the people of Texas be strongly reconsidering their decision come 2022?

lol your post is silly. He's one of the few actual Tea Party members who practices what he preaches and hasn't transformed.

I'm back in my home state but I've lived in Texas for many years. We love him.

Are the people of Texas that easily fooled?

Smart enough to not use his first name - "Rafael" just doesn't have the vibe for conservative politics, y'know?

And Cruz is way more intelligent & knowledgeable than Trump. He's also bereft of pride, principle, values and standards. Said it before: If I were accused of murder, I'd want Cruz as my lawyer. As long as the check cleared, he'd pin the crime on a church-going orphan in a wheelchair and think nothing of it.
