It's being used a a political weapon in my opinion. Fearmongering. The actions of some Democrats as of lately clearly show that follow the science only works to their benefit.
So if the economy slips and people are worse off under Biden because of the pandemic how does that benefit Democrats?
The chatter up until Trump left office was the left used the pandemic to hurt Trump. Fearmongering etc. You would think that the MSM and the left would be downplaying the pandemic at this point if all the previous chatter was correct. Yet the same pandemic chatter under Trump is happening under Biden.
What do Democrats have to gain from this? At this point, he pandemic continuing to rage and the continuing economic depression as a result actually benefits Republicans. And since it's mostly Republicans refusing the vaccine and doing everything possible to prolong the pandemic, it could almost be said that this is the new GOP strategy; keeping Americans miserable. The end goal for the GOP is the collapse of our democratic system so they can replace it with a theocracy, and this definitely seems like the fastest way to achieve that.
Anyone ever crossed a thought that, continuing economic depression WAS UNAVOIDABLE and entire COVID mania is nothing but a smoke screen to cover those in power and white them from any liability? Not us, it's the virus!
No? Never crossed? No? Smoke screens been commonly used in militaries and politics for thousands of years. Along with false flag operations.
I assume that you are a Florida resident with as much bitching and moaning as you do about DeSantis. All you have to do is stay home. Order your groceries online. Don't go to the beach. Don't go to church. Problem solved for you! For those of us that value freedom and understand the risks, we promise not to go to your house.
Better yet, move to a state governed by a Gavin or a Cuomo... then you won't have to make tough life decisions for yourself.

Something like, "It's unsafe for voters to go to the polls. Delta can also be transferred via mail- in ballots. Voting on-line, is safe and secure. The government garentees it".
We should have turned the corner already with this thing. Yet we are knee deep in COVID turd and there doesn't seem to be a light at the end of the tunnel at all. If there is, its going to require far more effective medicine and vaccines, Whatever we are doing is obviously NOT working

They are smart to do that...you should do the same especially if unvaxxed! Also roll down the Windows of car for ventilation...
With herd immunity not being possible for Covid, why are we going ahead with vaccine and mask mandates? These mandates only make sense if zero covid is possible. Zero covid is not possible. It seems Dr Fauci is waiting for his big pharma and Chinese overlords to tell him what to do? Or maybe he just likes to keep moving the goalposts?
At this point, I think Fauci and the Democrats are doing more harm than good for science. It is pretty clear that we tanked the economy and wasted a year and a half of everyone's lives for nothing. Now we are mandating everyone to get a yearly vaccine for life because our chief epidemiologist is a shill for big pharma and the Chinese.
It is clear that Fauci and the Democrats will keep this charade going until we fight back. They were surprised by how compliant the country has been and dont want to let the moment go to waste.
With herd immunity not being possible every single one of us has had a year and a half of our lives wasted for no reason. We have been putting up with useless mandates and been lied to by those who should know better. Most of us have taken a vaccine that is useless to us and does little to protect against others.
Dr Fauci should be arrested and hung for treason. His actions have done nothing but cause this country to be divided and to weaken our nation economically and globally.
I agree with the entire post except hanging Fauci. But he should be arrested and put on trial and forced to answer for his lies and crimes. Don't also forget that Fauci has been proven to have been involved in useless animial research, infecting dogs with diseases, etc. Only someone with no conscience would do that kind of thing.

Actually, your own health is your concern, not mine. Get yourself vaccinated, then you're safe.
Keep your immune system in good shape, eat reasonably healthy, and exercise.
And if you're not safe after doing all of these things, then the vaccines are not working.
Either way..... leave me alone.
