With the Delta variant spreading through the country, and some of the vaccines relatively ineffective against Delta, do you foresee more “shutdowns” like we had in March/April of 2020?

“The study found the Pfizer vaccine was only 42% effective against infection in July, when the Delta variant was dominant. "If that's not a wakeup call, I don't know what is," a senior Biden official told Axios.”

A third shot is now being recommended for some:

“The Food and Drug Administration is poised to amend the emergency use authorizations for the Pfizer and the Moderna Covid-19 vaccines Thursday to allow people with compromised immune systems to get a third dose....”

https://www.nbcnews.com/health/healt...eople-n1276602

And a certain percentage of the population seems to be just resistant to taking the shots.

Hawaii has just reintroduced protocols; California of course reintroduced the mask mandate; states across the south are starting to scramble for hospital beds...

Will Biden try to push a federal vaccine mandate? Will Governors push back?

What is your best guess as to where this is headed?

I think that if there are more and more variants, eventually, they will probably all mandate people stay home once more.

Expect the Democrat left and the corporate media to latch onto some story and then try to incite mass panic again, using that narrative as the lever. That will need to proceed any attempt to lockdown the country nationwide again.

It would have to get so much worse for that to happen again
People were legitimately scared In March 2020 compared to now
If they try locking down again nobody is going to listen that ship has sailed

Probably before the next election. That way they can void all voter integrity laws to get their people in.

probably not. Americans are weak, and we dont seem to have the stomach to do whats needed anymore. There was a time where we would mandate the vaccine ala smallpox. Now? Not enough self discipline or determination apparently.

Possible if vaccination rates don't increase, people don't follow health protocols, and covid numbers keep increasing...
