We bring up the illegals because we are in a freaking pandemic!!! And yet... our president is not quarantining them, not testing them, not vaccinating them, and sending them all over the US without a care whether or not they are vaccinated and/or infected.
What level of insanity are people suffering from, not to be upset that our President and his administration lectures and threatens Americans over this virus, while allowing unvaccinated and infected illegals to be shipped by the tens of thousands, all over the US???
a rational, thinking person should be upset that COVID variants were reported to be popping up in foreign countries. And yet our president has not implemented travel restrictions, he's flung open our southern border, and is flooding our nation with thousands of people infected with these variants.
I do believe that there needs to be a federal quarantine facility. But it should apply to all returning travelers, or should apply based on the infection rate of the country they are coming from.
It's nothing more than the goal posts being changed from "you wear one for me, I wear one for you" to "get your damn shot". It's the same group of control freaks.
Yes, but if the ones who aren't vaccinated would get vaccinated, then we would not have to worry about passing infections back and forth. With rare exception, vaccinated people aren't getting sick (other than a mild cold).
And before you say, well....what about rare exception? Shouldn't we lock down, and bring business back to a halt, and keep children uneducated, and look past the suicides and other health impacts of a locked-down society to protect the rare exception? The answer is that there are lots more activities that are more risky - driving, for example - and we don't demand everyone stop driving.
And before you say, well.....driving isn't contagious (I always hear that as the comeback), it's the same thing: having some drunk driver ram into you, or some idiot run a red light, or whatever is the same as someone else passing the virus onto you.
I say: if people don't want to get vaccinated, their choice. But the government shouldn't be telling those of us who did get vaccinated to go back into lockdown to protect those who chose not to.
You don’t get it. Vaccinated folks can easily infect the unvaccinated. And vice versa. If the vaccinated would just keep wearing their masks then they wouldn’t have to worry about spreading the virus.
The technology has been in development for a decade, the application to using it for COVID has been around for a little over a year.
So ask yourself this. If this is that great why has there not been a single drug before this with any sort of FDA approval using this technology? Then ask yourself why within months of COVID, this technology that has never been proven before is all of the sudden the "wonder drug".
While I am sure you will find some reason to dismiss this article from 2017, it perhaps should at least nudge an eyebrow as well.
I have no agenda when it comes to the vaccine beyond the radical notion that getting or not getting the vaccine should be a personal choice that people make on their own with their doctor without being mandated or socially pressured into doing.
Some here apparently think that makes me an "anti-vaxxer"
But I also think that those decisions should be based on the most honest and accurate information available.
So other people think that that makes me a "pro-vaxxer".
When I'm really just pro-freedom, mixed with informed responsibility.

We can screen people to check temperatures, but holding millions of US citizens and green card holders in a quarantine, would be too drastic.
However, we can hold illegals for six weeks, and that's only if they are legit refugees. Two weeks to check for infection. Another month to fully vaccinate them. Any who refuse to be vaccinated should be turned away, no questions asked.
But instead, we have insanity form Biden. He lectures us to be vaccinated, then ships these illegal border crossers all over the US. They are not vaccinated, and not all of them are tested for infection. Biden and his admin are insane, and so are his lunatic sycophants.
True. But many of the unvaccinated were hostile and critical of those who chose to get vaccinated, especially early on. Why? Largely due to politicians. It was only a matter of time until politicians on the other side encouraged the vaccinated to become hostile toward the unvaccinated. The politicizing of this pandemic is a major reason why we are in the state that we are now.

Multiple peer reviewed studies have proven that masks are not effective in preventing infection from viruses. I gave blood yesterday and everyone was required to wear those useless, ill-fitting surgical masks.

If anything those who have demanded the restrictions and vaccines for all without regard to choice are the abusive ones. I did everything that I was asked to do and thought once you all had access to the vaccine that was supposed to be the end all be all that you were waiting for, you would calm down and let people live their lives without being so controlling but instead you doubled down.
