What I see, hear and read is similar to Hitler's comments about Jews prior to the Holocaust. That is not hyperbole.
No one should be "celebrating" any race or group of people declining - be they black or Asian or Latino or white. It wouldn't be okay with you if people "celebrated" the decline in blacks, and it isn't right for anyone in decent society to celebrate white birthrates falling.
Youre right I havent been, because I'm not paying attention to any hard-right or hard-left rhetoric because most Americans, like me, don't care, because it does not affect our everyday lives. And we truly could care less about this culture war that the hard-left and hard-right are so hellbent on having. I've seen no one mention anything about Hitler and white people.
No one is cheerleading that white people are losing a majority. And even if they are, who cares? Even when the white population hits 49.9%, guess what? You will still be the plurality, for as long as we are all living. This is nothing but racism, paranoia, conspiracy, drinking too much of the kool aid, or all of the above. Circle in your answer.
I presume you are white. In that case, you have it made in America more than any other race and ethnicity. No matter what boogeyman Ilhan Omar says, you still can live a good day to day life here. PS: maybe you should take a long hard look at where youre actually "reading, seeing, and hearing" all of this, because I can 99% bet that it is not objective, independent, without bias, and not slanted in any form. It's called groupthink, echo chamber, and - conspiracy.
This is wild, but, wait for it: 1790 was 230 years ago. Also, wait for it: slaves werent free in 1790, nor were they even considered citizens. And since then, wait for it, the US has opened up to Asian, Middle Eastern, African, Latino, and other white immigrants + multiracial citizens, which means the US has gotten more complex as a country.
This may be an overreach on my part, idk, but, asking about race and ethnicity is not racist. Filling out a questionnaire about race and ethnicity, is not racist - unless that information is being used to push a white/black/hispanic nationalist agenda. Is that what the census is doing? Bare with me here: no.
You know what is a racist exercise? Crying about the fact that the US is getting less white, which the majority of this thread has done, and is unsurprisingly still doing. Someone in this thread actually said they hope Asians take over for white people because theyre the only race that can match white intelligence. And yet youre sitting here debating me about a piece of mail.

First of all, CD needs to add "wait for it" to its list of prohibited words and phrases. It can only serve to make those who use it sound dumb, and that does not add to the forum.
There was religious diversity. There were Catholics in Maryland, and Quakers in Pennsylvania. Religious schisms became common because it was so easy for splinter groups to pull up stakes and start their own community. Maryland passed a 'Toleration Act' in 1649 which forbade religious discrimination.
There was also ethnic diversity. The first Africans arrived in 1619. There were native Americans, of course. John Rolfe, who developed tobacco cultivation around 1615, famously married an Indian girl named Pocahontas in 1614. She had been in and out of the colony (Jamestown) from its beginnings.
There were Swedes, Finns, and Dutch at Tinicum Island (near Philadelphia) from 1643. Not much later there was a Welsh-speaking area 'which kept its culture for generations.' Since glass was hard to transport, there were glass factories in Jamestown that were run by Venetians and Poles. To the North there were French and Irish Catholics. To the South (in Florida) were Spanish.
I have not cried "about the fact that the US is getting less white." Just the reverse. So you need to address those posters who have rather than me.
Most importantly, yes, when you have 17 boxes on the census form to answer the question 'what race are you?' it's an exercise in racism. The US census literally defines us by the color of our skin, not the content of our character. Yet you seem to defend this. What might that make you??

Less than a month after taking office in 1913, President Wilson (D,NJ) began to re-segregate the federal work force and military, which had been desegregated by Republicans.
In 1954 the famous Brown v Board decision was made by a Republican-appointed Justice. It said school segregation was unconstitutional. Republican Eisenhower sent the 101st Airborne to Arkansas to enforce it. Gov. Oval Faubus (D,AR) stood in the doorway of a school house to block black children from entry. A young Bill Clinton later became personal driver for Faubus.
In 1965 LBJ, lifelong racist (called a 'connoisseur of the 'N-word') decided to pass a Civil Rights Act. He got Everett Dirksen (R,IL) to shepherd it through the Senate, where Democrats tried to filibuster it. LBJ was quoted by an Air Force 1 steward as saying "I'll have them [n-words] voting Democratic for the next two hundred years. "
In 1968, the rate of segregated Southern schools was still around 70%. Richard Nixon (R) went to work to change that. By the time he left office, the rate was under 10%.
In 2000, candidate W. Bush made it a point to put black Republicans on the stage at the convention. For this he was endlessly mocked by Democrats. Bush later appointed the first and second black secretaries of state (4th in line to the presidency). Condi Rice in particular was subjected to numerous racist attacks by Democrats. We're still waiting for the first black Dem Sec'y of State.
In 2008, Democrats, to their credit, put forth their first serious presidential candidate, but unfortunately he turned out to be a congenital race baiter. Not according to me, but according to Hillary Clinton, as recording in the book Game Change by liberal writers Heilmann and Halperin. Obama made race baiter Al Sharpton his "go to" guy on race issues (according to Politico).
I could go on, but that's enough. The Democratic party is, and has always been, the party of racism.

Tell that to Silicon Valley, one of the wealthiest, most prosperous, and diverse parts of the nation.
For serious people with serious ambition, the notion of diversity is a godsend because you’re able to tap more ways of thinking about and tackling problems. The reason cities are expensive isn’t just a plain density argument, it’s because cities bring together a diverse crowd - not just ethnically, but in every sense of the word. And because of fairly close proximity, ideas have a faster velocity which drives innovation, patents, and ultimately wealth and prosperity.
That cycle can absolutely break down - but done properly, diversity is a potent force for innovation.
Why is there an assumption that non whites are not conservatives or at a minimum want socialism? This is made up nonsense by the identity politics driven democrats. If socialism is so great, why are so many from south of the border clambering to come here.

I'm not a fan of what's coming from the far left or the far right. I see alot of extremism from both sides. And the extremists are screaming quite loudly. The extreme ones haven't given me a reason to buy into what they are saying. All it's doing is causing alot of confusion and chaos.

There are some individuals who would like to see the White population shrink, but not the majority. I'm not cheering on the drop in the White population. I'm not taking any delight in it. I'm not despairing in it either. I understand the forces behind it. Whenever I hear conspiracy theorists talk about "there's a White genocide going on", I look at said persons like they are very unstable. I don't see any genocide going on. Genocide is the deliberate killing off of a large number of people from a specific group, with the aim of getting rid of that group.
-Killing members of the group
-Causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group
-Deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part
-Imposing measures intended to prevent births within the group
-Forcibly transferring children of the group to another group
What I am seeing is a declining birth rate (By choice. No one is stopping White people from having children). I also see fewer European immigrants coming to the USA (many prefer to immigrate elsewhere). There isn't a deliberate effort to get rid of the White population. Just

One thing I've noticed about some of the conspiracy theories, many of those persons will turn around and calll minorities who complain about ANYTHING "snowflakes". Another reason I can't buy into the stupidity of said conspiracy theorists.

One thing I've understood about conspiracy theories, it is this. Many who give into such theories seek out other people who believe the way that they do. Echo chambers are what some people seek out.
Then why are the vast majority of Blacks who vote Democrat people who work for a living? Last I checked, alot of welfare recipients don't vote. Vast majority of working people (Blacks included) vote. I think that comment was made out of resentment, rather than anything rational or any reason.
