Music brings people together.
And music that is focused on spreading truth about reality helps to awaken those who are asleep and uniting them with people who are not. It's the whole reason I posted the video. UNITY. I see it in my daily life. It's funny, because you can always tell when someone is trying to feel you out, to see if you are "awake" to some things.... and then when you respond in a way that tells them "yeah, I know exactly what you're talking about.." then BOOM! whole long conversations start. I've never experienced anything like it in all of these years. It's great. I love seeing people coming together and realizing that we are not enemies. That we have a COMMON enemy. It's not left vs right. It's tyranny vs liberty. Simple as that.
What's great is that people from all over are uniting and coming together over the MESSAGE.
Democrats, republicans, independents, people who have never even voted or cared about politics, whatever...
it doesn't matter.
Liberty vs Tyranny. That's the only fight that truly matters. Everything else is just noise.

There are literally hundreds, if not thousands of songs from all through the past decades screaming truth about governments, society, etc. But this thread isn't about all of those other songs. This thread is about the Tom MacDonald song "brainwashed". I normally don't care if people go off topic in a thread I created, but we could be here for several years dissecting all the "hey people, wake the hell up!" songs. That's not what this is about. If that's what this was about, I'd put it in the music/entertainment/whatever forum.
This thread is specific to a single song.
And how this artist is bringing a lot of people from all different backgrounds together over very SIMPLE, yet DEEP messages about our reality.

It's hard to watch some reactions, only because it's difficult to watch some people who seem to be shocked by what he is saying, (like it's some new concept) because a lot of what he is saying is actually very "on the surface". But I don't care, all I care about is it is getting people to think. It's getting people to slip out of the matrix for a second and THINK. about what the hell is really going on around them. Those who already understand exactly what he's saying, it's great to see because a lot of people are realizing that they are not so different in their thinking than the person who doesn't look like them, or who is a different political persuasion or whatnot. Knowing that people are watching these reactions and seeing like-mindedness is the whole point. UNITY. Our society is unbelievably brainwashed and manipulated and controlled but hopefully more and more people are waking up to it.
It doesn't matter if you hate rap, or think Tom is a terrible rapper, or he sucks, or he's not very deep, or what have you. None of that really matters. It's not a music critique, it's a message critique. I find him interesting because of how he seems to bring people together and is giving them tiny red pills. The larger red pills can come later. Some people need to be EASED into being awakened. And that's ok. Whatever it takes.
The goal is unity. People coming together. Destroying all the division between us. This is just one way of helping to facilitate that.
