Vaccine passports aren't political. The point is to reduce the number of Americans dying to covid. They targeted the unvaccinated, not Trump supporters. Why do people in threads like this keep trying to politicize a health crisis?

Well, maybe the daily comments about trumpeters won’t get vaccinated might have something to do with it.

...if you need more, let me know

The New York Times examined survey and vaccine administration data for nearly every U.S. county and found that both willingness to receive a vaccine and actual vaccination rates to date were lower, on average, in counties where a majority of residents voted to re-elect former President Donald J. Trump in 2020.

The bigger point is that Democrats pushing for vaccine passports are pissing their most loyal voting demographic: Black people.

Vaccine passports are definitely political. Republican's are against them. Democrats are in favor. That makes it a political issue.

New York’s Jim Crow Vaccine Passport Will Deny Service to 72% of Young Black Residents

"A full 72 percent of young, black New Yorkers are about to be denied service and the right to work in New York City restaurants, gyms, and theaters.

The far-left New York Times reported Thursday only 28 percent of black New Yorkers aged 18 to 44 years are vaccinated, “compared with 48 percent of Latino residents and 52 percent of white residents in that age group.”

This means that on September 13, when the fascist city’s vaccine passport law goes into effect, 72 of black New Yorkers aged 18-44 will be denied service, as well as 52 percent of young Hispanics."

We are swimming in vaccine.

No one is denied the opportunity to vaccinate. In other words, all people in NYC have an equal opportunity, should they choose to be vaccinated.

There are about 36,000 restaurants in NYC. There are about 36,000 Police officers in NYC. No reasonable way to ensure each venue is consistently limiting diners to those vaccinated.

Because that is how mainstream media has been playing this: that it is conservatives and Trump supporters that are not getting vaccinated.

The media also pushed the idea that white supremacists were the ones attacking Asian people, during their "Stop Asian Hate" campaign.....when we all know who it REALLY was that was assaulting the Asian peoples.

Typical media race-baiting....man, I wish they would stop with the nonsense.

As much as blue tribalists want to paint vaccination hesitancy as a partisan issue and race tribalists want to paint it a a racial issue, the tightest demographic commonality between the vaxxed vs unvaxxed is class. And it should be no surprise people who believe the system is working for them are the first in line when the system tells them to get in line while those who believe the system is working against them are going to second-guess the system's demands.

If you want a vaccine, get it. If you don't, don't. The push to coerce people into the former camp is nakedly political.

A system that treats everyone as if they have the same risk profile, takes no consideration of those who developed immunity the old-fashioned way, compels people into medical treatments they neither want nor in many cases even need, and vociferously quashes dissenting opinions or discussion of alternative treatments is a system that covets power in the name of public health.

For what it’s worth, Texas A & M University survey conclusion determined black people, women and conservatives were the least likely to be vaccinated.

The 17 states with the lowest fully vaccinated rates trend conservative.

The black population in some of these states is not statistically significant.
