I have a lot of food allergies which makes me nervous to have the vaccine. I also had Covid and I’ve heard you get more sick if you have the vaccine then if you didn’t have Covid. I have felt sick from other vaccines like tetanus so I can only imagine this one would be worse.
You might look into the J&J vaccine. It's only one shot and I've heard a lot of folks feel worse after the second shot of the mRNA vaccines. I had a slight fever about 12 hours after the J&J vaccine, but it didn't last very long.

The 2nd jab gave my 30 year old son a heart attack and this is the primary demographic having this problem. The CDC reports 1253 incidents of myocarditis or pericarditis and he one of that group. He now seems to have recovered for the most part. I had both jabs with symptoms similar to most people.
My best friend from HS currently has covid and wishes he had been vaccinated. His wife was vaccinated and had a minor case while he is suffering.

My son has a peanut/shellfish/egg allergy and was afraid of the vaccine. But he did get it and had no side effects.
I have a few food allergies and some antibiotic allergies. I also had no side effects to the vaccine. I also didn't get any side effects from tetanus (after not having that vaccine for 40 years!!). The worst side effects for are from every flu vaccine. I get a fever, body aches, etc. for about 2 days.

I was told by my doctor as someone who has a few severe food allergies, to go for the Moderna over Phizer or J&J. Don't know why. 2nd shot with Moderna was rough, like a heavy flu for about 24 hours. That was it.
No. Wife had a low grade headache for a few hours the day following her 1st Moderna and nothing after the 2nd. I had no side effects at all after my J&J. None of our family or friends reported any significant side effects.
