I'm pretty sure recent events have nothing to do with it. Needless to say, Trump negotiated the perfect deal with the Taliban that in no way shape or form helped them take over the country.

Since the GOP took the page down, one has to go to the lying media to find the actual quote from Trump regarding his new friends in the Middle East.

Quote:
Taliban and U.S. Strike Deal to Withdraw American Troops From Afghanistan

In rambling remarks on Afghanistan at a news conference on the coronavirus epidemic, Mr. Trump also seemed to suggest that the Taliban might be America’s newfound allies.

“I’ll be meeting personally with Taliban leaders in the not-too-distant future, and will be very much hoping that they will be doing what they say,” the president said. “They will be killing terrorists. They will be killing some very bad people. They will keep that fight going.”

Trump did embolden the Taliban with this....Biden botched the withdrawal....but all four presidents during this war have their finger prints all over this thing.

The ones who truly emboldened the Taliban are members of the Afghan military who continue failing to defend their country.

Agreed.

Either way, Taliban is showing the world that they can never be trusted and their words mean absolutely nothing.

Four presidents, both parties have utterly failed in Afghanistan.

Out of all the last 3 presidents, Biden was supposed to have the most experience in foreign affairs, he has been in politics since the 70’s. You would think he knew better.

The real “F-Troop”.
Just goes to show there is no helping these people. And I don’t mean that in a nasty way, it just is what it is.
They just can’t get out of their own way. It’s always been that way, and western meddling only made it worse.
There’s 2 solutions, total occupation and takeover, or, just leave them the hell alone and let them just do what they do.

How surprising that you are trying to blame Trump for Joe’s failure.

This is kind of where i am at at this point. No matter when we left, no matter who was POTUS, it was going to be messy when we left. I didn't expect it to fall apart this quickly, but I did expect it to happen. If anything, this just shows that we would have had to be there forever to keep the Afghan government from being overrun because they couldn't do it themselves. We had to made a decision on whether to stay or leave. I think leaving was the right choice for the US, but only time will tell.

Time to call in George Bush Jr., to finish up his post 911 military Afghanistan operation.
