Was his Elmer Fudd voice racist? Ohtani said he wasn't offended. If I were him I would have given one of those John McEnroe apologies - "I'm sorry that he's an idiot." Because anyone offended by an Elmer Fudd voice is an idiot.
I certainly don't think it was the greatest comment ever made, but I think too much is being made of it -- and especially because Ohtani said that he wasn't offended by it. If he wasn't, why should others be?
I wasn’t offended by it. I’m not Asian though. I think it should be pointed out that shortly after he made the comment somebody brought it to his attention and he immediately offered an apology on the live broadcast.
Jack Morris is a hometown hero and, from my account, a good guy. His performance in game 7 of the 1991 World Series was legendary.

Btw, I think it DID sound more like an attempt at a stereotypical Asian accent than it sounded like Elmer Fudd.
He used a w sound instead of r for very. That's Elmer Fudd.
People gotta start standing up to the woke bullies.
This guy should be like **** off Im coming to work tomorrow and that’s that.
Why is everyone so afraid. Grow a goddam pair and stick up for yourself and everyone else.
