People aren't going to care about this in a month. The consensus is that our nation building efforts in Afghanistan were hugely unpopular with the American public. Most of us wanted our troops out. There have been 4 Presidents since this whole thing began and not one of them had the guts to withdraw our forces. Yes Biden screwed up on his handling of the evac and the press is having a field day but, at the end of the day, he accomplished something that none of those other Presidents did.

Giving Biden kudos for accomplishing something that none of the other Presidents did is like saying he solved world hunger by killing off everyone to make sure they were no longer hungry. It's not what he did, but how he did it that has everyone up in arms.
