He is not making a widespread mandate across massechusetts like he did before and he is at least against vaccine passports.
There are only several towns and Boston that are going to beimplementing mask mandates. It has failed because businesses are having trouble enforcing these mandates because most places don't have mandates therefore people are not carrying masks with them. The people don't even know the mandates are in place in these towns.. I go into coffee shops and half if the people are not wearing masks. I love how they failed.

People in Massachusetts have a dangerous belief if two people die we must continue with masks and restrictions. Some like it and are apart of stolkholm syndrome. Some are getting sick of it though. There is definitely covid fatigue here.
Mass has achieved a 65.36 fully vaccinated rate among adults.

Like in every state, the rate is highly variable by county and then within county.

Seems to me the infection and hospitalization rates in a given area and the loudest local voices are driving masking vs not.

New Zealand, population 5 million, had ONE recent Covid diagnosis ( traced to a visiting Aussie) and shut down the country for 2 weeks. Needless to say, this small island country, no longer allows visitors or returning New Zealanders. The overwhelming majority of the population supports drastic action.

The data seems to show that as being case with an airborne virus such as covid
Of course we know they are worn primarily for other reasons within a hospital environment.
Masks are to covid what the TSA is terrorism. Theater.

Democrats have a very low opinion of the vaccine they want to coerce people into getting. If the vaccine actually protected people then they wouldn't need vaccinated people to wear masks.

I wonder what conclusion can be drawn from this? Maybe that vaccines don't work for different variants? This may be why some have said you don't vaccinate into a pandemic
Vaccines are not as effective against the highly contagious Delta variant as they were against the original form.
Vaccines were developed, trialed and approved before the Delta variant emerged in December among India’s 1.4 billion unvaccinated people. It quickly spread world wide. It was first identified in the US this past March and quickly became the dominate virus.

Flu shots have very limited durability. The formulas change every year based on those viruses dominate in the Southern Hemisphere. While influenza and SARS are very different viruses, both constantly mutate.

Most common masks, at best, protect others from the wearer’s respiratory droplets. In parts of Asia, masks are viewed as demonstrating respect for other people’s health.

It’s curious how much of the US public purposely avoids smokers and their smoke even though a brief and casual encounter is not going to impact their health but don’t grasp any risk of Covid from protracted close contact with others who may or may not be shedding the virus.

Have you considered your perception may not jive with intent.

How is a 66 percent vaccination rate considered “high?”
