California has a unique recall system. The Democratic Party has discouraged anyone from running in the thought that if given the choice of an alternate Democrat many might vote for recall where if the only alternatives are Tru, I mean Republicans and the joke candidates like Jenner then they would have no choice but vote no on recall
it's worth noting that they tried very hard to have elder excluded..

Larry Elder is very very well known to the pinheads at the LA times. He's been on the local talk radio here for decades. They know Larry and they know he's not any kind of white supremist.
They are just carrying water for the Getty Family network of special people is all they are doing. Doing their master's bidding
Larry Elder is extremely qualified to run California, with his law background. Anytime I listen to him, I'm amazed at his sharp, quick thinking skills. Though, sometimes, he does talk a little fast.
Are there any black Democrats running? Just curious...

I think people (namely conservatives) have had enough and are starting to put all of the "isms" on the back burner, almost ignore mode of late. Why? Because in order to prop up one segment of society, you must attempt to bring down another segment to achieve success. However, in so doing, it creates a MASSIVE amount of division.
The end result is the division in society is of greater damage than the original problem was in the first place.
We are now asking a very simple question. Does your issue that you are signaling divide people? If so, be prepared for it to be ignored.
Smart citizens in both parties are now realizing unification is much much much more important than division.
So I read stories that are designed to divide us, it gets thrown in the dumpster.
I say "play the card that god dealt you and get on with your life." You change, don't expect others to change because most of the time, they won't.

Exactly. Newsom is running against his record. But I wouldn't say the candidates are headlined by Elder and Jenner. Those two are celebrities. Elder because he's a radio personality. Jenner because he's a transgender person. So they have media exposure. They might win votes just because of name recognition like Arnie had.
I voted for Kevin Kiley. Kiley is a very smart state legislator, the real deal.
