Moreover, as it turns out, the effectiveness of the mitigative shots wanes by the month, they do little to stop infection and spread, and while they do mitigate the risk of hospitalization, by now some 10%-15% of hospitalized CoViD patients already had the mitigative shots before coming to hospital, and even that number will probably keep rising.
Arrogance on all sides and ill-advised, ill-timed, confusing and divisive guidance on the part of the actors in political theater with respect to public policy-making have been, and will continue to be, an obstacle to employing all the mitigative tools available all at the same time with equal rigor over a sustained period of time, including the mitigative shots, which are number three on the list in the mitigation toolbox.
No doubt, however, they will double-down on arrogance and bad guidance, making the booster-shot campaign that much harder for a lot of people to swallow, or take in the arm as it were.
