Much much lower at this point in a presidency. The highs usually come in the first year and for most presidents that's been in the 75 to 85 percent range. Joe peaked at 63% because he isn't Trump and has been tanking since because people now realize while Biden isn't Trump, he is still Biden.

Not true, Trumps worst year was his first year in office. W's 2nd year was higher than his first, as well.

Giving Trump a thrashing at the polls is not an impeachable offense and neither is stuttering.

Look at the official link I provided. It shows all the presidents approval ratings and Biden is well, well, well, well below the averages at this point in his presidency.

Don't blame me. Them's just the facts. You can pick out one or two that don't fit in there, but look at the averages, the normal and you will see just how bad Biden is doing in his honeymoon year and getting worse as he creates one disaster after another.

The world's eyes are on America and Biden and they are all shaking their heads in complete and utter disgust.

Do you like him because he condoned riots in our cities? I heard helicopters flying over my house all night, heard gunshots, glass breaking, people yelling and screaming.

No person "sponsored" a riot in our Capitol.

Biden showed the world what a true insurrection is!
He enabled it!

Incorrect, it simply shows the highest and lowest approval ratings for a given President. Trump's highest number, for example, was from 2019. That wasn't 7 mos into Trump's Presidency, was it? No.

Also, what makes ROPER any more "official" than RCP, exactly?

Pollster's & political analysts advise not to focus too much on any 1 poll at at given point in time, but look at multiple polls across a wider time frame to see trends.

Joe's trend is downward, & imho, it will continue downward because of: Covid, the open southern border, Afghanistan, & inflation. These are all massive problems that will not be fixed anytime soon, & are likely to worsen.

Due to these issues, I think Joe and the "Progressive" Libs are in big trouble, & moderate Dems and Independents are beginning to reject their policies and poor results.

I'm praying that mod Dems and Indy's will bring us back from the failed socialist-leaning brink in 2022 & 2024, & the Pubs will moderate towards them...which means no more Trump. I'm willing to move on from Trump, & get a real fiscal conservative in the White House, who can work with Dems on the social issues. Trump was okay, except he was just another 'uge spender, just like the rest of them, & he was polarizing.

These wild lurches left & right are not working, we need to moderate...find some middle ground, & work from there.

The Blue vs. Red rhetoric is strong in this thread, which means the top 1% are happy, & winning. To beat them back, we must find some middle ground.

Who are you talking about? The FBI just released a report stating there was no sponsored plan.

That's hard to factor. Lots of polls wern't done before LBJ. LBJ had a poll done on day 216 and the next poll wasn't until day 379. So we've only got Nixon, Ford ,Carter, Reagan, Bush, Clinton, Bush, Obama, and Trump to compare, 9:46 isn't a great sample size.

BUT:
The average is 52.87 approval. Biden's 3 points below average

MUCH lower than JFK or LBJ
13 points lower than Nixon
12 points higher than Ford
16 points lower than Carter
11 points lower than Reagan
19 lower than GHWB
5 points higher than Clinton
2 points lower than GWB (who got a HUGE boost in 2 weeks)
1.5 points lower than Obama
12 points higher than Trump

So out of the ex-presidents his aggregate approval is lower than, the one he was the furthest away was a one term president. On day 216 out of the last 10 president, GHWB had the highest approval. Biden is lower than 2 one term presidents and lower than 3 two termers.
Biden has higher approval than 1 two termer and 2 one termers.

So: approval rating on day 216 doesn't mean anything.

That didn't take long.
So now you like the rigged polls.

A drop in the polls with the Afghanistan withdrawal is certainly understandable but he is still higher than Trump ever was even before the virus hit.
