My sentiments precisely.

Hey. I got a great idea. Let's stay in Afghanistan another 20 years. What could go wrong.

It keeps getting worse and worse:

Biden- "As far as we know, the Taliban is allowing US citizens to get to the Kabul airport".

Reality- The Taliban is killing Americans and Afghans who cooperated with the US, are confiscating US passports (they then have no identity or ability to leave the country) and have closed the airport.

It's a good thing everything is going just fine, which allowed Joe to go on vacation to Delaware!

Looks like Joe is wanting thousands of hostages, as opposed to the few hundred the Iranians held.
Don't worry or stress about it. Joe Biden has reinsured everyone, that he is in control of the whole predicament.

20 years ago we had patriotism, now we have wokeism. Society feels the need to honor criminals like George Floyd, yet they turn their back on the flag (Megan Rapinoe), a flag that the thousands of service people died for in Afghanistan and during those 20 years.

I've got a better idea. Let's evacuate responsibly and according to the deal we made and according to the tenets of military tactics. Oops, too late for that now!

Biden stuck to it with a no matter what attitude and now people are p? I don't get it.

You seriously don't understand getting all the Americans out before the military leaves?

Not leaving behind billions of dollars worth of military equipment for the enemy is a conundrum in your world?

Quitting Vietnam was ugly and tough. No diff Afghanistan.

How many Americans were abandoned in Vietnam?

"President Biden on Tuesday insisted that his decision to withdraw U.S. forces is not up for debate, saying that despite the Afghans’ weak performance militarily, he did not “regret” his decision to end the 20-year campaign and he is not considering any change of plans in light of the Taliban’s gains."
