Here's a video from one of the quarantine 'hotels' in Australia:

If true, this is seriously disturbing. Are there any outside agencies checking to see if human rights are being violated in these camps? Does anyone care?

Waiting for the Australian posters to justify, minimize, or dismiss this.

It really is. That is a human being in clear mental distress being held against his will. Nobody cares. The normalization of extreme authoritarianism is chilling.

There's another video somewhere an Australian politician saying the unvaccinated will be 'locked out' of healthcare and the economy. Australia is a dictatorship at this point, and the world just does nothing. Ho hum. It's not just Australia, though...many free nations are falling.

Anyone who is in a makeshift prison absent due process and against their own free will, has had their human rights violated.
Where is the global outcry, sanctions or a UN condemnation? Nowhere to be found and likely none forthcoming as govts the world over are green w/envy.

I agree. No one should be locked up without due process. That is a foundational principle of all free nations. The last two PCR tests my daughter had to get were done in a drive-thru place. The guy swabbed her nose, then carried the swab---completely exposed to the air-- the length of the parking lot and into the building. Any number of things could get on the swab, corrupting the accuracy of the test!! Plus, a test is not enough to diagnose illness. A medical exam is also needed. Yet based on only that test, she can be kicked out of school and into quarantine. In a dictatorship, she would be locked in a camp. This is not right, and everyone seems to accept this insanity.

I was surprised that an Aussie bureaucrat with half a brain realized zero Covid was impossible unless they wanted to kill all life forms on the continent.

Saw videos of truckers (truckies) blocking the roads and also saw photos of bare supermarket shelves. We are told not to believe our lying eyes.

Is Oz becoming a Chinese colony? Or will they wake up and rise up and demand freedom?

Yeah some people melt down. There have been a few videos like this.

But no, it's not a camp and their rights aren't being violated. And yes, they have plenty of support. But as I said, unfortunately it is too much for some.

Haha, yeah a dictatorship..

Imagine believing that people would be locked out of healthcare.... What does it take for a mind to believe this.

He actually said:“When we get to those [70 and 80%] vaccination double-dose thresholds … the notion of a lockout of the whole community is far less relevant,” the Victorian premier said on Friday.

“What will become a bigger part of our response is a lockout of many venues for those who are not vaccinated.

“I am not going to lock the whole state down to protect people who would not protect themselves. If you are not vaccinated, and you could be, the chances of you booking a ticket at a sporting event, going to a pub … will be very limited.”

I don't think there are too many developed nations where this is particularly controversial or out of the normal.

It takes more than a few deluded Americans to generate such an outcry. It takes a breach of human rights generally.
