True, and it’s disgusting. I have not seen one post wishing death on Rev. Jesse Jackson and his wife for getting Covid, but if he were Republican you can damn sure bet there would be people on the left gloating and wishing death on them.

Those aren't hospital costs, those are their charges, not taking insurance into consideration.
Medical providers typically accept less than half their charged amount from insurance companies as payment in full. I doubt they are losing money on insurance settlements.
