There will never be an accurate accounting of deaths, ever. The numbers have been manipulated from day one. The first round when it was new, and elderly people were affected and died in large numbers will never be repeated. Many deaths in the beginnig were counted as Covid deaths, and were NOT. The lethality now is much the same as seasonal flu. It's here. It's not going away. Get used to it, because vaccinated are also getting infected and dying.
Yes there have been 144 breakthrough deaths in my state since July.

Intubation is running ~8:1 infavor of the unvaxed.

If your ICU capacity is at 80-90% - and much if not most of that is filled with non-covid patients - then they are good to go. That is not a problem level of capacity for an ICU at all. And that is not even taking into account the ICU capacity of other nearby hospitals and the ability to establish overflow capacity.
