Dustin Brandon Ferreira, 37, a left-wing activist, said he was with other activists Sunday evening when a man used a slur against a Black man in the group and fired multiple rounds in their direction. Portland police said the man was arrested but declined to release his name and said in an email that “the entire incident” is under investigation.
Before the shooting, the suspected shooter, who had been standing at the fringes of the downtown protest for hours Sunday, told an Oregonian/OregonLive reporter that the left-wing activists were “the real fascists.”
Here he is being forced at gunpoint away from the Black Bloc crews.
The fact that Portland police & city officials refuse to do anything to stop this madness will only ensure that it will continue.
Portland was a nice city 20 years ago, not so much anymore.
Wait a minute. When the peaceful anit-hate protesters were in Charlottesville, the Trump based blamed them for being the targets of violence. They said that if they would have just stayed home and let hate prevail, that there would have been no violence.
Why not just blame this one on Proud Boys. If they'd leave Portland to those who believe in equal protection for all under the constitution, then there would have been no violence.
Seems like a double standard to me. I guess if people are in support of an ethnically homogenous, hate filled country, then they get special priveledges?
