Proud Boys aren't extremist though. They're a boys club and basically if they hang out anywhere on the West Coast they get attacked by ANTIFA who record everything and edit out their instigations

Both my sons live in Portland.
They say that a local offshoot of the Proud Boys, the "Patriot Prayer", are the ones who are doing almost all of the fighting.
From what my sons say, Patriot Prayer has been around for longer than the Proud Boys as an organization. They're mostly country folk who live out in the county and aren't Portland residents.
My kids don't know how the 2 groups affiliated or how close they are to each other, but according to local sources, the Proud Boys were the tagalongs in the earlier fights that were more unwilling to fight than to take all the credit for the fighting later. The Patriot Prayer have done most of the fighting.
Neither of the knew what to believe about the Antifa. Earlier, a lot of them were apparently street people Portland is full of them, and has been forever. Seattle, too.
Geez, give it a rest, Jan 6th was a one off. In two decades there were none like it by "the right" and none since. Meanwhile antifa routinely engaged in 600 riots which were much worse confrontations than occurred on Jan 6th. Twenty years from now, you people will still pretend Jan 6th events happen every day.

The intent of CHAZ was to secede from the US by force. This also happened in Portland and Minnesota. They controlled those zones for weeks, which was actual treason
