A friend of mine is just recently recovering from Covid. She wasn’t vaccinated.
She said when she went to the urgent care, the nurses and doctor there told her the increase in cases is due to the vaccinated people spreading it…that they aren’t aware they even have it and that’s why it’s exploding now.
Makes sense to me especially considering the cases were so low last summer with no vaccine.
I would suggest this anecdotal story is just that - a single piece of evidence.
You should ask "How did the nurses and doctor know that it was vaccinated people? Have they been testing a lot of close contacts to the unvaccinated but infected, and found those contacts were vaccinated but also infected?"

did you read the CDC report that the AP News journalist summarized in this fashion?
Now, I would say the %'s are misleading because they compare to the vaccinated to the entire #'s since March 2020. However, one should be able to use this figure and your own state's figures since say July 1 (go further back if you choose, to when vaccines began) to see just what's going on.
For example, in my state:
~8,000 total hospitalizations just since July 23. Total vaxxed hospitalizations 321. That would be 4%.

Also South Korea is mandating you show a QR code from your smartphone to enter a club or bar. For contact tracing. Only a matter of time before QR code on your skin?

If a person has been vaccinated they are still dangerous? And should continue the same behavior as if they hadn't taken the shot.
If you heard it from a friend, she was lying to you. It never happened. It is just another in the long line of misinformation attempts circulating online.
Why would she lie? She just recovered from Covid and has nothing to gain from it
What's out there seems to be more than a variant because it 'varies' enough to be something completely different.
