If you simply just tax the rich more and more, US will be able to pay for everything it will ever need without increasing inflation. Even if the rich already pay all the taxes, we should make them pay more in taxes. They can afford it. And no they did not earn their "wealth". They had it imagined into existence, and displayed electronically. The rest of us have to accept it as real.

We are doomed if the Reconciliation bill passes.

Too much bloat, pork, taxes, entitlements - The bill should have been called "Welcome to Bernie's Socialist Nightmare".

The meaning of "democracy" to a liberal is "the majority votes for it and a minority pays". When the GOP takes over in 2022, their first legislation should be to rescind all of the Covid spending that has been budgeted for the next 5 years.

This is the most confused and wholly wrong post I've read in awhile here. Anyways, ask France how that strategy worked out for them...

I have no problem making the rich pay their fair share. Heck, make them pay a little more for the opportunities that have been afforded to them here in the USA. But one must understand the limitations of taxing the rich. Eventually, they take their wealth and go elsewhere. And no, wealth is not just a number created electronically on a computer screen. That is a far too simplistic view of what wealth truly is. Unfortunately, I think most democrats think that is what wealth really is.

Right after this, Pelosi wants to ramrod thru a Voter Sham bill that will give the Federal Govt oversight on elections - which by the Constitution is the purview of the States.

So, the Dems will spend us into oblivion and ensure single party totalitarianism rule.

Hey, don't make jokes. That's exactly what it means to a liberal.

Not so much minority pays though. The idea is that the majority pays while the libs rule.

"Fair share" means if you pay $20K in taxes, the "rich" should not have to pay more than $20K. Everyone should pay equally for their right to be an American citizen.
