Mask mandates reinstated today, regardless of vaccination status.

I know, it removes the incentive for the unvaccinated to get vaccinated.

Not a fan of “mandates” but it’s good that people are masking up again. Hospitals are filling up. We need to reduce the next wave.

I want the person who gave the go ahead for the Garth Brooks concert 10 days ago to get pelted with rotten marshmallows.

Kinda like not wearing your seatbelt because you have an airbag.

Comparing masks to seatbelts means you want forever masks. Simple as that

Masks are worthless. He should know that after all the scientific studies we’ve shown him that he’s ignored.

No. (And by the way, seatbelts are much more effective than an airbag ) What I mean is no matter a person's vaccination status, they now have to wear a mask. What's the point of an unvaccinated person getting vaccinated if they still have to wear a mask? I, personally, am not arguing this question, but this is what the unvaccinated will think.

The state had 18 months to build and staff more hospitals. Instead, Oregon (and other states) barely put their pants on in this regard. Hospitals are the state's problem at this point.

It tells me that the vaccine doesn’t work.

So now I have no reason to get a vaccine that has potentially very harmful consequences.
