Afghans are good people. They work hard, they enjoy many aspects of Western culture, and a great many of them speak English. They have been our comrades for a long time. I support the immigration of these people.
Are you joking? The Vietnamese refugees have definitely not had a positive influence, and the Afghanis are going to be much worse.
I disagree. I grew up in San Francisco in the 70’s among many “boat people” and have always found them lovely. They work hard, open businesses, pay taxes, follow the law, and keep to themselves. What’s not to love about that? Incidentally, one of the Afghans’ largest US communities is in Fremont, CA ... where I also lived some years. Fine people, all of them. Two breeds of immigrants who do great here.

I disagree. I honestly have not met a Vietnamese immigrant that I have not been impressed with. In fact, IMO the SE Asian immigrants have been among the best this country has ever seen. Our problem in the future is losing them because all the savages we have running around unchecked committing crimes they are thinking of going back.
Ask Minnesota and it’s surrounding states larger cities how they are doing with the Somalis…………………………….take a sample of 100. 20 of them work a regular job. 10 are in prison. 5 have actually went above and beyond and greatly influenced their community. 15 participate in daily crime. 50 of them live strictly on government handouts. 95% of them can’t drive let alone drive on snow……………… brilliant thinking liberal Minnesota
It is easy for them to sit back and virtue signal, while the owners of those homes will pay the ultimate price for this.
