Whoa. Full stop. Biden supporters don't get to ask questions or deflect anymore. Not after this world stage blunder by your president. Your only duty from here on is to expedite the removal of this bumbling fool of a "leader" and his entire cabinet of utter incompetence.
LOL, can you prove they didn't? I think it is likely they provided a deterrent to the potential follow-up attacks. We will see how the situation is handled by biden. I sure wish Donald Trump were back in office. This likely would never have happened under President Trump, and if it had, the retaliation would have been swift and severe. President Trump would have never went to the taliban and asked them to allow our stranded to travel safely. He would have issued and ultimatum and unlike biden, would have backed it up with action.

The only reason Bush was rewarded another term is because no one wanted John Kerry as president. But that’s neither here nor there. As has been pointed out hundreds of times on this board, it’s not the withdrawal from Afghanistan but the manner in which the Biden Administration handled it. There is no defense for leaving our air base in the night with no notice to the Afghani Army and apparently our own allies without getting our people out first. How dare any of you try to make excuses for that.
