This turning a blind eye toward January 6, in service of The Big Lie and a sore loser, has eroded our very foundational principles and is sickening to real patriots.
It cannot be stated often enough: The world witnessed a failed coup d'état on January 6. Donald Trump's seditious mob used brownshirt-style violence to prevent Congress from certifying the results of a free and fair election. This attack on our very democratic process and the resulting gaping wound to our nation's soul, and the tattering of democracy itself cannot be healed or put behind us until there is a full accounting of what led up to it, what occurred during it and what happened afterwards.
People who are not appalled by what happened that day have given up on democracy and our sacred nation.
The only coup that was actually attempted, in trying to unseat a duly elected president, was the failed Russia coup.
Your frequent comments denying the armed violence, and your redundant posts whitewashing and downplaying the ferocious and brutal 4+ hours long battle for democracy on January 6, are in direct conflict with the sworn testimony of the Capitol Police and the D.C.
