Has any "anti-vaxxer" ever tried to prevent you or anyone else that wanted it, from getting the vaccine?

So sorry! Yes, I can imagine especially when the “sole funeral home” has a capacity of 9 (bodies).

Doing nothing = the fastest development, mass production and distribution of vaccines for a new novel virus in the history of the planet. Trump pushed for the medical community to try everything in case something unexpected worked. Well, some things worked and some things didn't and a lot of lives were saved as a result. But yeah ... he did nothing.

Meanwhile the man who said the words, "Trump has no plan for Covid-19. I do." is now in charge. What has he done that wasn't already being done? Why is the monthly death rate under Creepy Uncle Joe almost exactly the same as it was under Trump, despite all the vaccines and the progress we've made at treating the disease? He's just sitting there impotently, avoiding the press, while Delta burns through the population. He just sits there like the braindead idiot that he is while the Taliban humiliates us in Afghanistan.

Sure, and many Democrats are anti-vaxxers too. Not all, though.

Nope. The counties in question are not 'Portland'. Tillamook county voted Trump, Josephine is overwhelmingly Republican with over 61% voting Trump, 35% Biden. They just have a lot of unvaccinated right wing folks.

But in Josephine County, where hospitals are overwhelmed and its morgues are also reaching capacity, the vaccination rate is only 53%, according to Oregon Health Authority data. The vast majority of COVID-19 patients clogging the state’s hospitals and intensive care units are unvaccinated.

Unlike their counterparts in Tillamook County, Josephine County commissioners are urging people to get the vaccine.

Jefferson Public Radio reported that in a meeting earlier this month with local health officials, Josephine County Commissioner Herman Baertschiger Jr., a former leader of the minority Republicans in the Oregon Senate, said: “I’m not going to hog-tie anybody and give them a vaccination.”

Did you even read the article...

Quote:
“In the past week, we more than doubled the number of COVID deaths in Tillamook County, from five to eleven,” Commissioners Mary Faith Bell, David Yamamoto and Erin Skaar wrote. They begged residents: “Please get vaccinated.”

The request come as the coronavirus delta variant tears through Oregon’s unvaccinated population.

The county vaccination rate is 70%, either in progress or fully vaccinated.
Tillamook County is 70% fully or partially vaccinated. So please stop with the "Oh it's those darn Conservatives".
