The debt to me and my children and grandchildren has spiraled much higher, everything is more expensive, my investments are making less, covid is spiking up, crime is spiraling out of control, the media has grown even less trustworthy setting a new low bar in history, China Joe has given the Taliban a kill list, and I can't think of 1 thing that has improved under China Joe.
Piling dept onto future generations is literallyTAXATION WITHOUT REPRESENTATION.
Somehow, there needs to be a class action lawsuit on behalf of these children.
Not sure what healthcare you are dealing with, my family's healthcare has increased significantly with less coverage, higher premiums and huge deductible.
My healthcare costs have decreased, although to be fair, As a single adult male with no kids, I didn't really pay a whole lot to begin with. I don't think Joe Biden had anything to do with it one way or the other.
Putting politics aside absolutely not. Economically my wallet has taken a huge hit with inflation skyrocketing.
I didn't get the chance to read all the posts, but the Pandemic is such a far over riding national problem, all else is secondary. And about all the Biden administration can do is continue to support the medical efforts, which they and any administration would be doing.
Sure there is more inflation, but a moderate percentage is not as potent a problem as production/demand chaos the Pandemic has caused, And now with the Delta will continue to cause.
I'm not debating whether the ACA should be around, I'm just point out that the ACA is NOT affordable (or good) healthcare, unless you qualify for a subsidy. And even then, it's smoke and mirrors. You might be only paying $300/month for the premium, but you are still responsible for a ton of other expenses until you have met your deductible. Further, on an HMO, you can't leave your zip code without being out of network and not everyone takes it.
I must agree with you that does sound crappy. Probably something to do with your State's policies. Not so where we live though. DW is not in an HMO we steer clear of those, they are an insurance company scam. Regular ACA HAS to be per the ACA specs. Be thankful you do not live in a really poor state like Alabama, Louisiana or Mississippi. I hear theirs is terrible also.
A HMO is like Medicare advantage, not real health insurance. Unfortunately people are naïve especially older people and just because some has been celebrity tells them it is good they think it is. Retired People really are hoodwinked into thinking Medicare Advantage is Medicare, it is far from it. I pay for Part G.
Obviously I am way more educated on Medicare than the ACA, and fortunate that we live in an area where it works. When we travel I buy DW a supplement for the duration of our trip, it is never more than $100.
You realize Trump spoke often about infrastructure? You know that right -- he supported spending money on infrastructure.
You realize that Democrats have stretched the definition of infrastructure to include a lot of garbage that really isn’t roads, bridges, and the types of things that Trump talked about, right? They even consider an amnesty for illegal immigrants to be “infrastructure.”

You are covered anywhere in emergencies. And you are covered elsewhere if your local area lacks what you medically need. Like certain testing and/or specialists that your local area does not have.
The trick is to stay alive until you are on Medicare. My wife's medical expenses dropped $1500/mo starting July 1 when she moved into Medicare.

You said north east Florida, so I put in a zip code for Jacksonville and with that zip code (32201), your options are either an HMO, or an EPO.

If you have cancer and want to go out of state for treatment, you are absolutely screwed.
