Interesting, thing is that because Proposition 13 in 1978 if they buy a house in a bubble they will likely have $10,000 in property tax or more per year on a small house.
If someone needs a grant to buy a house in San Diego, how do they pay the $10,000 property tax bill that people have small homes there.

Just skimmed it. Can you point to where taxpayers’ money is going to be used to fund it? Anyway, you have to be low income to qualify. My guess is that most Black or African-American people living in the area will make too much.

Mind you, if the program was being run by the Reps it might be considered a step in changing the crime culture in some lib run inner cities. But if it's being run by the libs then all bets are off.

The four-pronged effort, called the Black Community Investment Fund, was created in partnership with the Central San Diego Black Chamber of Commerce.
The money from the foundation and LISC San Diego will cover about $40,000 per home purchase, to cover either part of a down payment or closing costs.
The other assistance will come from financial institutions participating as mortgage lenders and grantors, who will contribute at least $9,000 and help homebuyers get matching grants from the Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco.

That’s it? So it’s mostly NOT taxpayer funded.
And where does it state the the County started this?
It doesn't matter if it's tax payer funded or not, this is blatant racism no matter which way you slice it and dice it. Seems many Black people seem to forget that there are other races out there besides Blacks and Whites.
