He did end the war.

That is exactly what he did...and it should have been done a more than a decade ago...hell we never should have wasted Trillions of dollars and thousands of soldiers lives by being there to begin with. Bin Laden wasn't even found in Afghanistan, he was found in Pakistan and taken out by a very small Seal Team.

He won't be....we'll be right back in it because of the incompetent way in which he exited.

God forbid....if we get attacked again...and more American bodies start popping up in Afghanistan....the Dems are done for the next 100 years.

As for all of the billions of US dollars worth of ordnance/weapons and equipment/technology? It's only going to be a matter of time before we see attacks being carried out utilizing such against the United states and our allies.
Without maintenance and parts most of that will be scrap in a year. Afghans did not maintain it. We paid contractors to do that. They left - part of the 6000. Anyway a Humvee is not something a suicide bomber is going to use in NY.

The Taliban obviously helped with the evacuation. IDK if we paid them or not - probably did - but it underscores that they sort of need us or at least our money and technology. We have billions of "their" dollars sanctioned. While I doubt the word or intentions of any Sunni-run government, maybe they have changed in 20 years. Afghanistan sure has.

Finally, a president with the political will to do the right thing there and not just promise it. He will get credit he deserves one day.

Oh we’ll find out soon enough. They’ll be on the news one way or another.
