Incredibly callous, those dogs are bonded with their handlers, handlers should have gotten them out no matter what the consequences.

It would have been much more humane to put a bullet in the dog's heads rather than leave them to the taliban or to starve.

And finally the petty cruelty and venal heartlessness of this wretched administration captured in one terrible photo.

Very sad, and I can't believe they would just leave animals.

Apparently some veterans groups are trying to raise money to bring the animals home.

In contrast the UK managed to fly home around 170 rescue dogs and cats from Kabul as part of Operation Ark.

This was two weeks ago. More recently, like in the last 12 or so hours, military dogs were abandoned at the airport.

Do a little research please.
