I've wondered this myself.
Usually, in cases where horrors are happening the media manages to find people experiencing it. And then interviews them, if under cover with the voice altered.
Has anyone actually HEARD of any stories of family in the US crying out for help, or American Citizens pleading to be brought home?
I have lots of military friends, and have asked does anyone know of anyone left in Afghanistan, and crickets.
So, the answer is, I don't know. But am as curious as you are, OP.
The question is who are they, and did they really want to leave in the first place?
Well, Fox is reporting that these people DO want to come home, but who knows if that is accurate? As with CNN and the rest of the corporate media, it may not be.
If they wanted to stay, then I have no issue with them staying; that is not the equivalent of leaving them behind.
But if they wanted to come home, that would make this one of the most deplorable things any admin has ever done in the entire history of this great country.
I am really hoping we did not actually leave Americans behind. If we did that is beyond terrible and inexcusable. From CNN interview with one lady who claimed she was left behind, she claims she was not told it was the last flight out...
Believe me, if one American family had a hair on their heads touched by the Taliban, then Fox News et al would be running that story 24 hours, 7 days a week, and their boot lickers on this site would have started 30 threads on it already. That doesn't mean someone their couldn't be in danger, but why are they in danger? Did the state department start telling them to make plans to leave when Trump announced the May deadline, and they chose to ignore it?
Of course none of this actually MATTERS to partisan political blowhards, they think they have Biden on the ropes with this. No lie or exaggeration is off limits in this political theater.
