I've said quite a few times on here that I miss the days of plain old liberals. What we have today now with the neo left is a different sort of critter from liberals as I knew them. I actually could find common ground with liberals. These neo leftists I have to see as the enemy pure and simple. When the like of Lenin, Stalin , Mao, Kim, and a mish mash of South and Central American and African dictators are touted as heroes left field has gone over the fence an out of the park.

Which is kinda where we're at right now. I remember teachers in high school and even middle school that we're liberals. Oh sure they would get off into discussion with liberal ideals of domestic social beliefs and foreign policy. Had a lot of ...lively...debate with a couple of them. Especially on the issue of firearms rights and certain environmental views. Had one or two about history that got a bit heated as well.

I can only imagine a high school kid like me and my circle of friends up against teaches like we're seeing now. These leftist moon bats these days would have triggered interesting responses. But 40 years ago the path to dumbing down students was in it's infancy at the K-12 level. We're teetering on the brink now.

Our founders were revolutionaries who wanted to make a free society. Marxists want to make a totalitarian society and they have a track record of slaughtering millions in pursuit of their unrealistic goals.

Never in my days would I have thought that American schools would take down American flags and replace them with Marxist flags (excluding gay flag that isn't Marxist) and hang pictures of Mao Zedong and teach that he is a hero. Even liberals are not that way, what it is now is leftists.

It may have been trending that way for a while but since last year when BLM and Antifa and all the politicians and people that support that it is now so in your face it can't be denied. The current administration told embassies to fly the BLM flag as a example.

There is a cold war active in the U.S and the Marxist who want to tear down America and usher in a socialist Marxist era control half of government, most of the media, many of the schools and universities, have select control of social media, and now are bringing it to the military with studies of BLM and critical race theory to cadets which can only mean they want future military people to be left also.

The U.S as has been under the constitution and bills of rights is incompatible with Marxism ideology, sooner or later it will come to a "head" but there is a danger also that those that want to illiminate Marxism would turn to actual bonafide Fascism to do so going from one extreme to the other.

One more thing, those teachers in these videos and those that support them do you think they support fair free elections? I 'd wager to say no, that they view the advancement of their ideology above all else no matter what it takes, and to stop their rival no matter what it takes.

Trump was a huge thorn in their side they never saw coming, look how they acted for four years it was a holy crusade for them to stop him, and along came COVID and the questionable election tactics after.

While I'm not defending those that stormed inside the capitol I believe the left wasn't outraged by it as much as it scared them to know that so many police and military people were part of that capitol day either those that went inside or stayed outside hence their realization they don't control the military to blindly follow orders as much as would be needed "if", hence introducing BLM and CRT and other woke studies into military academies

Marxist can't have people more loyal to god , country or family than to their ideology otherwise it won't hold the teacher or better yet to call him (indoctrinater )in the video said as much.

I didn't read through the whole thread so I apologize if this has been said already, the school responded and the teacher is on unpaid leave pending termination.

It's too late now IMO. To be (what used to be) a left-leaning centrist now makes you a MAGA supporter and there's so much political blowback that the majority have shut down their thinking brains in order to not rock the boat.

The leftists/socialists will destroy the country, cancel any dissenters, and turn your own children against you. They don't care about the constitution, personal freedom, liberty, and the things that brought millions of immigrants here seeking the American Dream.

Trump was right. It took me a lot of effort to get over my personal disgust of the guy (and he's not the brightest bulb in the box) but he got it on a gut level. And he loves his country and puts it first. And now I get it and I stand with Trump (as a former black liberal) because the Democrat and the Republican politicians are equally corrupt and are just enriching themselves while this ship sinks.
kudos for seeing the light

Oh, hell. I had a social studies teacher in high school - Vietnam vet, unabashed radical - who taught us all about his views on socialism and encouraged us to protest the Vietnam war. None of us turned into socialists, revolutionaries, or communists. Give kids some credit for critical thinking.

Times were very different back then.
