Sure you were.

All these posts are gloom and doom. I don't think you hate it at all.

Our country needs to bounce back from electing Joe Biden. Joe Biden is a senile, spineless, and cognitively bankrupt Marxist who is leading this country backwards.
Unfortunately, there are pols on both sides of the aisle who are part of this. They ALL need to be voted out or we're screwed.

The government may not have to. A terrorist cyber strike is coming that will knock out all power, and it will happen in winter. Count on that. There have been articles about pandemics and cyber strikes on our power grids for more than a decade and our government has done nothing to prepare for either.

Politicians don't run this country.

Most of us don't really care about politics. I've lived long enough to know that every single time there's a regime change in this country, the other side ******* and whines and plays dirty politics to get back in power. Happened with all of them. So, as long as there is at least a two party system in this country, there will be division between the party's beliefs. But, that being said, it's a far more fair system than an autocracy or dictatorship...

If you are really concerned with the plight of the country, I would suggest one of two things: 1) get into politics and make a difference 2) turn off the laptop and go outside and meet your neighbors and forget about politics for a while

I’m sure there’s at least one good fight left. Here is what you’re up against.

Quote:
Why is it that "the human mind should take these opposites not as dead, rigid, but as living, conditional, mobile, transforming themselves into one another"? Because that is just how things are in objective reality. The fact is that the unity or identity of opposites in objective things is not dead or rigid, but is living, conditional, mobile, temporary and relative; in given conditions, every contradictory aspect transforms itself into its opposite. Reflected in man's thinking, this becomes the Marxist world outlook of materialist dialectics. It is only the reactionary ruling classes of the past and present and the metaphysicians in their service who regard opposites not as living, conditional, mobile and transforming themselves into one another, but as dead and rigid, and they propagate this fallacy everywhere to delude the masses of the people, thus seeking to perpetuate their rule. The task of Communists is to expose the fallacies of the reactionaries and metaphysicians, to propagate the dialectics inherent in things, and so accelerate the transformation of things and achieve the goal of revolution.
On Contradictions
Mao Tse Tung

https://www.marxists.org/reference/a...1/mswv1_17.htm

They’re materialistically religious.

They believe capitalism is going to fail anyways and the longer it takes the more miserable people will be. Therefore it is righteous to be an “agent of change” for “The Revolution.”

They’ve built up a pretty big base but it’s not even 20% of the population with allies (they’d probably gas later anyways) so they have power and they’re strategically placed but they do not have the numbers.

People don’t like being told or having to think about the possibility they’re in a “Thought Reform” Maoist campaign from The Party who decided they needed to “de/reprogram” the right. In all honesty they’ve been building up their “war of position” for decades but Obama opened the gate and let them in to positions of power that make rules and regulations but that are not elected. Anyways, eight years of that and even a Republican president in a decisive win can’t carry out his own agenda. And never will be able to as long as they’re still there.

So why wouldn’t Joe and his internationalist try to make America looks as bad as possible. Accelerating the contradictions is something Lenin and Mao both spoke of.

But Joe has dementia and his handlers do not care how the old white man appears to the public and to history. If they have their way they’re get ultimate power and erase history and power in whatever direction they wants anyways.

So expose them. Show people what “Thought Reform” looked like in the 1950’s in China. You can download Thought Reform and the Psychology of Totalism online by Googling it. There’s even a Wiki on the book. It’s hard to deny if you look only in pages 14 and 420 through end of chapter it’s clear what’s going on.

Then of course the ramifications of it all. The first black president installing subversives throughout government purging dissidents of power. That’s history, man! That’s historic!

Who knows how far back that rubber and is pulled.

Judging by the thread titles of all the threads you have started, I seriously doubt that you "hate to be doom and gloom."

The country lucked out geographically and exited WWII with intact factories and a middle class on the ascendancy. Stayed on the upward trajectory until roughly the Reagan era, when the moneyed classes got the unions properly strangled and income differentials skyrocketed. People are complaining about China as if it wasn't the US investor class who moved their production overseas as fast as they could. The results were predictable - indeed, predicted.

Now the country is headed for a new guilded age - Brazil, but with the poor kept better out of sight. You have two parties, both on the billionaires' side. One is there to make you feel good about disliking gays and loving guns, one is there to make you feel good about being tolerant. They'll both hold the middle class down to be plundered.
