I prefer castrations on dead beat dads but we seriously need the man pill. Guess men still believe it’s all the woman’s fault.
Yep. Men need to up their standards. Don’t have sex with woman who would abort. Men mind your sperm. Use Birth control. Or just be celibate. Have a vasectomy. That’s what they tell us women. Want your precious sperm to come to fruition better make sure who you leave it with.
The problem with the Texas law is it will spawn back street abortionists, like back in the dark ages. This will not only kill the fetus, but it will definitely kill the fetus and often endanger and sometimes kill the mother. Or, go to a sensible state, but unfortunately they often cannot afford that option. Hold on, that is what the GQP wants, to digress America to where it was in those dark ages.
The dark ages for abortion was in the 1950s and 60s (and prior), for those too young to remember.
That 6 week idea in Texas had to have come from men, many of whom have no idea what a woman's cycles are like and how much they can vary. How could a woman stay within the law in regards to abortion if she doesn't know she is pregnant until 8 weeks or later?
There is no good compromise. Humans come from the bodies of women. The state has laws to protect the life of humans, you are not allowed to kill another human if not in self defense.
Everyone agrees, even the pro choice people, because they are for laws that assailants who kill a pregnant woman are charged with TWO MURDERS, the murder of the woman, and the murder of the child, regardless of months in the womb.
They want it both ways. I am sympathetic that a woman should have the choice over her own body, but when pregnant there are now TWO bodies to consider, regardless of circumstance
The idea to charge for 2 murders is a very recent development IIRC. It threw a monkey wrench into the abortion discussion.
I have never referred to a fetus as a parasite. Most expecting mothers bond with their babies long before they are born.
Not necessarily so. I can remember a good part of my pregnancy long ago feeling like there was a thing growing inside me. That was a planned and wanted pregnancy.
