Compromise for abortion? The answer is more education. Europe has far less abortions, because they have more education on the importance of proper family planning taught in schools, for both girls and boys. Girls should also have access to birth control as early as 15 or 16 available through the school nurse, and without a parents permission. It’s her body. Kids need to be taught to be embarrassed about asking. Boys shouldn’t be embarrassed about getting condoms the same way, perhaps through a male mentor, if that makes it easy. But, sadly religious leaders, and some parents would fight this tooth and nail.

I remember the group of friends I had during my young teen years, nearly all of us were having sex by the age of 14/15/16, quite a few had been with numerous partners by the time they reached 16yo...but now that those same people are parents themselves, they want to fool themselves into thinking young teens do not have sex anymore... Im not sure how this happens to them, I guess they forget their own years as a teen.
What you're hinting at is nation-wide vasectomies for males coming of age. You register for the selective service and get fixed in a manner like we do to dogs/cats.
You do your tour, prove you have stable income and a career then apply for vasectomy reversal and the right to reproduce.
It doesn't promote freedom and liberty but will help solve global warming, inflation, an unplanned pregnancies. I'm not advocating for it but it is a solution.
