Despite clearly being demented and compromised by corruption, they voted for him anyway.

The problem is that the very same voters will do it again for the next dem disaster and will somehow justify it to themselves. They are incapable of learning from history.
The Democrats are trying to come up with reasons that it was Trumps fault and not Biden’s.

"The war" was essentially over 18 months ago, when Trump got the Taliban to sign the Doha agreement. Because of that agreement, not one American was killed in combat for 18 months, until a week ago.

Sounds like a hand- off of a classic Catch 22 for political gain.

Biden inherited a no- win situation.
We all know it is messy, it is the failure to order American civilians to evacuate, it is the fact Biden did not inform Great Britain and France, our allies of his plan so they could order their citizens out, it is the fact Biden had no communication with our allies for over 30 hours. That is nothing but pure incompetence, soldiers are always last to leave, not civilians.

Biden is not just incompetent, he is mentally deranged. Biden knew the Taliban were advancing and wanted the president of Afghanistan to spin that things were good in July when it was all falling apart. This phone call was leaked to let us know that Biden knew the Taliban were taking over in July. Biden is such a liar and manipulator of the truth.

We need a presidential recall to get Biden out of office. He was installed through cheating and lying.
Biden dithered and delayed so long, that we only got out one flight of Afghan special visa holders out of the country, on July 30, before the Taliban took over the entire country.

Biden should have been evacuating our war-time friends back in April. I heard we had about 60,000 of them, and we only got out about 4,000, and that's just because the Taliban surrounded the city and those were the few who were lucky enough to already be in town, or made it to the airport in time.

"Blame Trump".

Trump's deal came with specific conditions and consequences if the Taliban didn't hold up their end. At the time Trump cut troops to 2500 the Taliban was behaving themselves.

Had Trump been in office he'd have bombed them as he'd done the last time the terrorists "got cute".

There was nothing in the deal about surrendering the Bagram airfield, or leaving billions in weaponry behind. Those moves were the keys to this thing getting completely out-of-hand. That's all on Biden & Co.

As soon as Biden took office the situation spun out of control.

Tell me, what would an “extraordinary success” look like in Afghanistan? Getting the hell out of that fetid s-hole is a success. Too bad we didn't do it after a year. Too bad the American people didn't demand it. Afghanistan can now welcome the next invader as it always has. The Russians failed and the Brits tried it three times. Hopefully we will not be that stupid.

We (our military) successfully evacuated 122,000 people out of Kabul during the last days and our allies evacuated thousands more.

Including China, Afghanistan is bordered by six countries. There will likely be a civil war with outside meddling. At its strongest the Taliban only controlled 75-80% of the country. They already outlawed opium poppy growing in the past couple weeks. If we are smart, we will be spectators and not participants in this mess.

Life isn't black and white. Was it a success? Yes. Was it an 'extraordinary success'? No. It went much, much better than it could have for our country, and I'm glad we are out.
