Full disclosure: I am refugee from communism, an emigre to the US, a naturalized citizen, and a veteran.
For the past 40 yrs that I have lived in the US, I have seen the apathy of American parents when it comes to the indoctrination of their children by Marxists inside the American education system. I was active duty when the Berlin Wall fell, and when others in the squadron breakroom said this meant the end of communism, I was the sole dissenter. I know better. The hardcore Left do not play for months or yrs, but DECADES. They know that the best way to change the US must come from the children, not the adults, and least of all, not with people like me who knew the reality of Marxism. The collapse of the Soviet Union and the poverty of Cuba do not deter them from their goal of making the US into a communist country. They are not intimidated by the 'leave the US' argument. They are determined to change the US, so why should they leave? Their belief in Marxism is no less intense than that of religious fanatics.
Assume that the current parents are able to stop Gabriel Gipe and his ilk for now, the universities and colleges have already turned many of the older children into the likes of Gipe. That mean Americans will have to deal with many more Gabriel Gipes for at least 40 more yrs while they struggle to undo the indoctrination the current generation have been taught.

In his book, Confrontational Politics, Senator H. L. Richardson explaines how socialism/communism got its foothold in our country through the ignorance and apathy of the voters.
It has been said that when one American was informed that much of the country's population suffered from both political ignorance and apathy. His yawning response was "I don't know and I don't care."

For years parents had a certain level of trust in the education system and teachers, but we are all starting to see that the indoctrination ideology of CRT is both Top Down and from the side and bottom in schools.
Randi Weingarten (AFT) and Cindy Marten (Deputy Secretary of Education) are fully indoctrinated/brainwashed and near the top of the CRT push.
Then you have Bettina Love of the Abolitionist Teachers Network that come from the side to disrupt schools to blast in CRT.
Then you have the teachers themselves that slowly go woke with the mental disease all by themselves - but many are forced to take seminars to indoctrinate them.
The furor of the woke left is that they've been exposed - like a light shining on a dark corner of cockroaches that then scurry for cover. And now they are all butt-hurt. Boo....hoo.
The teacher unions have been propped puffed up with power holding the education of our kids hostage while they make demands and consolidate the CRT curriculum they want to put forth. And the parents are just plain fed up with the BS.
The trust is eroded - you can't trust school boards, school adminstrators, school principals, school teachers.
Curriculums have been debased to participation pats on the backs - everyone passes, good job - see how we 'improved' our goals of equity!
And, we have a whole new generation of wokesters taught to hate their own country and ready to accept the socialism of mediocrity.

Nope...not after seeing that "Project Veritas" is an extremest far right wacko group on wikipedia...the students will be just fine and won't turn out like the teacher you think is the "devil"...stop being so paranoid with fear regarding differing opinions...students aren't that dumb and will retain their autonomy...
So let me get this straight: This thread is filled with footage of the teacher not only admitting it, but numerous parents showing up to a board meeting to discuss it. And the teacher has been fired since then.
However, you're choosing to ignore ALL OF THAT, solely because Project Veritas is a right-wing group? Better yet, you're willing to believe anything from Wikipedia, which allows any a-hole to edit anything on their site? LMAO even the founder said not to trust Wiki because it's no longer what it was supposed to be!
Jesus, talk about your emotions superseding your logic and common sense.
You choose...everybody has their own opinion...the kids will retain their own opinions as well regardless of what the teacher tries to "push"...they will be fine.

Around these parts we've had similar situations at board meetings, angry parents, F bombs being dropped, but the issue here is all about masks that the kids are being forced to wear.
