It is part of the regulations that proven immunity can be used as the basis for an exemption and there is a religious exempt clause. However, the “pre-existing immunity” clause only applies to diseases in which research has shown a one time infection conveys a proven lifelong immunity. Currently, this is not true of Covid. We have no idea of how long Covid immunity lasts.
The religious exemption can be disregarded in a time of imminent threat to health or safety. So, the religious exempt is not going to fly right now as it appears the Biden administration and/or the brass have decided the current Covid pandemic constitutes a time of imminent threat to health or safety. Those with a sincere religious objection will most likely be allowed to receive an administrative discharge in lieu of vaccination, in that case it would be an honorable discharge.
