China wants all its billionaires, well basically the rich, to help the people with often a lot less. I think they're right in the sense that the rich should help others but implementing this is not going to work if the government is involved. Bureaucrats are basically idiots. They collect paychecks, they don't sign them.

Your thoughts?

Western countries have solved this problem by using inflation as the hidden tax. There's nothing the people can do to stop it.. the governments spend the money, the central banks buy the bonds and sit on them as long as is needed, which also controls interest rates and pegs them at low levels. We get more money chasing less goods, and inflation is the result. The more they give out, especially to the bottom via extended unemployment, the more the inflation. Similar to if we provide more services to more people.

Eventually the central banks will simply monetize the debt... wipe it from their books. It's just numbers on a computer screen, so everyone should be prepared for this eventually. Whether they tax more, or the government spends more, the result is pretty much the same. Reduced purchasing power unless the wages keep up with the inflation, which so far they don't seem to be on the top end, though on the bottom end we're seeing a decent rise in starting wages in many jobs... people are quitting their more high stress skilled jobs to take $17/hour burger flipper jobs because why not?

It’s a cycle.

Country implements socialism -> gets poorer -> learns mistake -> implements free market -> becomes wealthy -> forgets lesson -> socialism creeps back -> repeat

And he has an agenda, great propagandist he is. I loved the ending of that video. Perhaps America should attack China and help them? Working for mutual benefit is not an option so lets just have a war?

Sounds like a plan to me. Not.

China has made HUGE strides in the last 40 years. Tremendous. They've lifted 600 million people out of poverty, OH THE HORROR!!!!!

They still have issues though. Maybe keeping the riches money in the country will help a little if done right?

haha, should learn CPP's "Public-private partnership." no wonder China is kicking the western world ass. Leftist dolts are so naive that they are "illogicality". First of all, most billionaires in china are CPP's frontmen, hear Jack Ma lately?. CPP just wants the money back because China's econ. was killed by Trump and it needed the money. Also. CPP is positioning itself to secure its future governance.

That huge stride was Deng Xiaoping’s “market reform” in the late 70’s when communist China opened their economy and embraced capitalism. Their economy steadily grew and grew as a result. Look back at my previous post where I called the step “implements free market.”

Of course, if you look at that same post, see what follows that step.
