5 years ago, I would have been totally against this sort of thing, as it is very divisive.

I don't like the idea of business owners choosing to refuse service based on political beliefs. It is bad for the country. We should all be able to discuss our political opinions with each other rationally. It should always be a friendly debate of ideas.

But the left really screwed that up during the Trump administration. And I don't think many of them even get what they did wrong. So maybe this type of retaliation is necessary for a while, so they can have some introspection, which in turn, will change their behavior in the future.

But I doubt it. They probably will just view it as a reason to do it more.

I feel this was not about politics, but rather Bidens inaction that got 13 Marines killed. The restaurant owner had no issue with smug Biden supporters since January after all...

How does a restaurant verify if someone voted for Biden?

Its a nice little promo but these types of stunts usually backfire in the end.

I’m sure there are people who wanted to eat at the restaurant when it closed.

The red Hen in Virginia did something similar by kicking out the current WH Press Sec at the time. Wasn't in favor of that kind of divisive behavior then. Am not in favor of it now. No hypocrisy here.

Maxine is the one that said to get a crowd and get in their face. That is one crazy POS there.

Refusing service based on voting is a dangerous precedent and the wrong way going forward.
