The docs well being is important. If the doc does not want to see un-vaccinated patients, that's their choice. They can recommend another doc to take care you. You want to exercise your freedom, they can exercise theirs. There is no law that says a doctor has to take responsibility for you.

Rather than ask on a political forum, why not contact the applicable state licensing board and ask them that question?:

They can stop medication refills if you refuse to go in for a visit so they can check your health status, but IMO it's wrong, unprofessional, and just plain unconscionable to refuse to see established patients solely on the basis of their covid vaccination status. Would they refuse to see patients who don't get flu shots, pneumonia, or shingles shots?

I'd fire that doctor.

My doctor asked me one time if I wanted a flu shot. I said I don't think my insurance will pay for it. His response, that is their problem. Do you want one?

We all know what happens when you corner a wild horse.

When all else fails people will go to the emergency room.
Hope that day never comes. Not enough hospital beds on a
normal day. Add Covid sick and the unvaccinated denied entry
to doctors outside hospitals?

The $hite will hit the fans?

I think it's unlikely that anyone would get a script that would get them through a year from a doctor in the ER. Maybe a few weeks of pills with the instruction to follow up with his doctor.

Many states limit the dose an ER doctor can give to 7 days worth. Three days for pain meds.

Thanks, I figured as much. ER's are really just meant as a quick and temporary fix until you can get to your doctor or a specialist.

The problem is that in some places it can take a couple weeks or more to get an appt. I have insurance and am no longer producing red blood cells and it took me two months to get into see a specialist.
