Right, it's inline with all the other states. 89-90 percent in the ICU are unvaccinated. It's not all a coincidence
Absolutely correct. It's by design. Random populations, random demographics, random everything yet the exact same numbers are being used. You don't recognize a red flag when you see one.
what the headline means is 89% of the people have less than 4 shots in the arm, since today, 'unvaccinated' now means what 'fully vaccinated' was 4 weeks ago.
The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services on Tuesday told WRAL Data Trackers that more than 90 percent of people who died of COVID-19 deaths in the state this year were not fully vaccinated.
Put another way, 9 percent of those who died of COVID in the state since Jan. 1 were fully vaccinated, so-called breakthrough cases.
In all, 11,066 people have died of COVID in North Carolina in 2021. Since the pandemic began, more than 19,000 have died in the state. Of that number, 993 came in people who had been fully vaccinated, DHHS data shows.
Current heuristic is you're ten times as likely to end up in the ICU if you are unvaccinated. Hopefully we don't end up with a variant that has the shorter incubation time of Omicron with the more deadly traits of Delta.
It's the very data we are questioning. You can package up false data in the scariest ways you want but if it's inaccurate data then it's useless. Unless the purpose is to scare people into compliance of course.

Yep, it wanes over time. That's why I got a booster. I don't want the possibility of long Covid, much less hospitalization.
And even then people with 2 shots are not being hospitalized in droves.
