The "Republicans" have realized this and have been working for many decades to determine how to seize power once and for all, and institute one-party rule. Did you really think they were going to sit back and tolerate this? The attempted coup of 2020 was just a warm-up for the real thing in 2024 or 2028. Far as I can tell there is little to stop them from succeeding.
The only reason Republicans gained influence in PA, OH, MI and WI was because of Trump and his anti globalist message. Without that, those states, with maybe the exception of OH would rather go with pro-union Democrats.
Otherwise, the future battle lines seem clear; blue is spreading faster and stronger; esp because of immigration. So congrats to the pro business conservatives who want all that cheap labor and low end consumers. Now prepare for the big fat arrogance cake..
Like all those corporations that donated to the DNC?
But, the largest exodus of people from California move to Texas, a red state.
Many I know who moved to Texas are from California, even in my state the county and town I moved into was all blue and after a ton of people from California and other blue states moved here, it turned red….

Pro-union democrats? What is this, 1970?
As for immigration and minorities, don't discount the democrat's ability to completely alienate them as well.

They sure don’t have to persuade the DNC on matters pertaining to immigration they like, do they?
Immigration is one of the primary drivers for Democratic voter growth to majority. The RNC happens to have a giant fifth column at work undermining its prospects, only counterbalanced with weak and flimsy anecdotal hopes that Hispanics and Asians will wake up to the cause.
go brandon is going to find himself in a world of hurt after these midterms... all the republicans have to do is **** about their jesus, abortion, and trump. You stick to the talking points and you'll had many a dems their walking papers.
Republicans seemed to have found the winning formula: Make it difficult for those who support the other side to vote. Gerrymander legislative districts locally and nationally to ensure Republicans will be elected. In some states they have even gone so far as to have their gerrymandered legislatures declare that they, not the vote totals, will determine the outcome of elections. Finally, have a highly partisan Supreme Court so that all of the above assaults on the constitution will be ignored.
We are in for a protracted period of minority rule in this supposed democracy.
We have been in a state of minority rule for some time now.
Trump lost the presidential election by millions of votes.
Republicans in the Senate represent more than 40 million fewer people than do Democrats.
The Right hasn't won a popular vote in decades and the electoral college will ultimately be controlled by the left as more red states turn blue
I'm in my 60's and have heard similar statements as yours above my entire adulthood and Republicans still win elections.
