We have to know it and accept it. For you people it seems that if you don't like what you are learning, then you change the channel. Not very bright.
For instance, just one example ... human influenced global warming is a real thing. The news media will report on it regardless of politics, it's just news.
But because many of you people don't want to believe it, you will attribute it to 'leftism' or whatever.
NOTE: global warming shouldn't be political. It is a common threat to all of us.

For another example: Covid 19 is a real, and a dangerous scourge. Masks help prevent the spread, albeit not perfectly, they help. The vaccine works, it reduces the spread and even in breakout cases the victims generally fare a lot better than if they had not taken it.

The media has not changed, it is not "in bed with the libs", you have changed. You people just want to pick and choose your reality. Well, you have sources for that, they can tell you whatever you want to hear, but they are not serving you well.
The answer to the question is, when news outlets were condensed to just a handful of outlets and purchased by international corporations that were non-news in nature and had much bigger fish to fry than simply reporting unbiased factual information.
The parent companies, the ones that control 90% of all disseminated information in the US, are GE, Viacom, Disney, Newscorp, Time-Warner and CBS.
Since it is the surest and most efficient way to enhance their bottom line, each of these parent companies are looking for politicians they can do business with, now and in the future.
For example, GE is very interested in green energy and politicians that promote it because our government has a virtually unlimited supply of money that it can print for research and implementation of programs that lead to green energy and GE is in a position to swoop up a ****-load of that money.
As far as GE is concerned, it doesn't matter if AGW is real, imagined or a little of both, as long as enough people believe that it is a big problem, getting worse and something must be done about it so that the money continues flowing in.
So when NBC opens their nightly news broadcast with images of wildfires and hurricanes while making matter of fact claims that both are caused by "climate change," it doesn't matter to GE's bottom line if that's true, somewhat true or mostly bull **** because they just want the money that climate change brings.
Republicans, those that advocate for less spending on AGW boondoggles and the like, are a problem for news outlet owning international corporations like GE because they are slightly less inclined to support the sort of fiscal irresponsibility that pumps up GE profits.
Companies like GE will remember those public servants that have done their bidding while in office by providing big money lobbying positions and do-nothing board seats to them once they are out of office.
This is done because it serves as a constant reminder to those still in office that they too will be rewarded if they do whatever their corporate overlords require, i.e., **** working Americans in the ass.
So anytime you see a news anchor rambling on about government spending huge, unprecedented sums of money to fight Covid-19, stimulate the economy or rebuild our crumbling infrastructure, understand that it is our corporate oligarchy speaking.

Hunter Biden laptop stories never made any sense. Still don't. May well have been something there but if there was the authorities screwed it up. That was the Trump administration.
The lab leak story was there all along. It was initially speculative but no rational mainstream media denied it. Later it became clear the lab had some role in the disaster. Exactly what is still under discussion. Most likely because China does not want the whole story out.

The same FBI that agreed to destroy evidence used in the Clinton investigation and simply took Crowdstrike's word for it that Russians hacked the DNC servers?
No problem with Nellie Ohr, employed by Glenn Simpson, claiming spousal privilege because her husband, Bruce Ohr, instrumental in the Russia-gate hoax, worked for the DOJ?

When you think about it there are loons on the left and on the right. They are at the very extremes. Maybe your right wingers are extremists and your left wingers are more center-left--there are different degrees of leftists. Most left wingers are not the crazy progressives and most don't even know what Antifa is. Most of us would line up with center-right or center-left. Extremist right wingers are the type who just banned abortion--like going back to the dark ages or Taliban rule against women. But I don't think most right wingers are like that. I give them credit for being better than that.

For sure the Left has owned the media since I was a child in the 1960's nonstop. The reasons I believe is that people that want to control people are the Left and media, they just are philosophically aligned.
It's a made up acronym that some Trump supporters use to attempt to deflect criticism of their messiah when they are unable to refute the criticism.
